The participants will be asked to find an Earth observation image, describe it and link it to a climate problem. Images can be related to pollution, oceans, agriculture, forests etc. The source of images have been indicated in the guidelines which I am enclosing. A short title and original caption (200 words) should describe the following: Location, What is visible, and what climate problem is shown.  

All participants will receive a participation certificate, and their submissions will be shared on the ESA website.

The participants will take part in a monthly science quiz which will be hosted by the science club. These quizzes are equivalent as to the ones which would be taken under normal circumstances at school. The highest achievers will be given a certificate approved by school and the ultimate quiz winners will win a memento. The quiz will be conducted for few minutes every month. Students are working with scientists and engineers at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre to analyse data from a previous space mission to help identify potential targets for the James Webb Space Telescope.

Data comes from the Spitzer Space Telescope and students will be analysing spectral data to help identify the object it originated from.

Data is provided by NASA and this project is approved by NASA.

Project is under the Science and Technology Facilities Council of UK

 Students will be posting new articles every week, the topics will be given to the participants. these exciting weekly blogs will have the participants name engraved on the blog to give them credit. this is an exciting addition to any persons CV.

We will be handing out a special certificate to these participants at the end of the year.
